It’s never too early to start prepping for all things Halloween. From the decorations to the changing leaves, costumes, and parties, it’s such a fun time of year (regardless of whether you’re a spooky season obsessive or not). You may or may not be hosting a big bash this year, but that doesn’t mean you can’t indulge in a few seasonal tipples! That’s why we put together some of our favorite Halloween punch recipes for everyone to enjoy.
In all honesty, I’m not a huge fan of Halloween—it’s a lot of chaotic energy for my old soul. However, like a good Libra, I absolutely love the entire vibe of the spooky season. Crunchy leaves, cobwebs on lampposts, eerie scenes, and an excuse to eat candy? I’ll take it! (What can I say, I contain multitudes.) Throw some delicious seasonal adult bevs into the mix and I’m sold.
What’s not to love about punch recipes? They’re easy to throw together and can be made in large batches ahead of time. Truly the ideal situation. Punch—an icon, a legend!
I’ve included a few Halloween punch recipes for the kids, too because what’s a Halloween party without a punch bowl? But let’s be real, we’re here for the grown-up versions. That said, you can probably modify just about all of the mature punch recipes and omit the alcohol to make them palatable (and acceptable) for adults and children alike.

Orange Sherbet Halloween Punch from Lil Luna
Why we love it: Sweet and fizzy, this orange sherbet punch is a festive treat for kids (and ice cream-loving adults). You only need five ingredients, but make sure you give yourself enough time to whip it all together. It’s beyond worth it!
Hero ingredient: Orange gelatin gives it an unforgettable texture and color.
Polyjuice Potion Sherbert Punch from Adventures of Mel
Why we love it: Where are my Harry Potter fans? This delicious lime punch also has a sherbet base, giving it a creamy texture. And thanks to its creepy green color it passes as the perfect witches’ brew.
Hero ingredient: Gummy eyeballs really add a little extra special something.
Swamp Potion Punch from Eazy Peazy Mealz
Why we love it: It’s a fruity, fun, and tasty treat for all. I love the idea of going the extra mile with frosting rimmed glasses and sprinkles. It’s truly a party in a glass.
Hero ingredient: Was anyone else obsessed with piña coladas as a kid? (Non-alcoholic, of course!) The coconut milk in this delicious punch is totally reminiscent of a delicious colada.

Pumpkin Patch Punch from Half Baked Harvest
Why we love it: How gorgeous is this punch? It’s made with apple cider, orange juice, a hint of lemon, spiced pumpkin butter, vodka, and brandy. Talk about autumnal flavors! Rim the glasses in cinnamon sugar or leave them plain, either way, it’s an incredible fall cocktail that’s great for the entire season, from Halloween to Thanksgiving.
Hero ingredient: Top off each glass with ginger beer for a bit of effervescent delight.
Witches Brew Black Sangria from Fed and Fit
Why we love it: Tart cherry juice, sweet pomegranates, and a candied blood rim make this punch too good to pass up. You can even drop a few cubes of dry ice in to make it extra spook-tacular. If you’re looking for an alcohol-free version, simply omit the red wine and add some extra ginger beer!
Hero ingredient: The pomegranate seed garnish gives it an unexpected texture.
Spooky Halloween Party Punch from Simply Happy Foodie
Why we love it: It’s a modern spin on a classic party punch recipe. The color is spot on for a Halloween celebration and the taste is a delicious blend of seasonal flavors. You can even use food-safe gloves to make giant hand-shaped ice cubes!
Hero ingredient: Frozen lemonade concentrate adds a burst of brightness and cuts your prep time in half.
Hot Apple Cider Rum Punch from Brown Eyed Baker
Why we love it: There are few things more autumnal than a spiked hot apple cider recipe, and this one is as good as it gets. It’s an incredibly simple recipe that can be whipped up quickly, so you can busy yourself with other tasks as the apple cider simmers with orange slices, apple slices, fresh ginger, and a cinnamon stick.
Hero ingredient: Fresh ginger cuts the sweetness and adds an aromatic hit.
Tart Cherry Eyeball Punch from Country Living
Why we love it: These DIY eyeballs are as delicious as they are creep-tastic. The punch itself couldn’t be easier to make, requiring only five ingredients. Bookmark this one for a sweetly tart delight.
Hero ingredient: If you’ve never had a lychee cocktail before, then this is the perfect place to start.
Frankenpunch from Delish
Why we love it: This sorbet-based Halloween punch recipe is a slightly acidic, bright, and sweet concoction. Pineapple juice and tequila give it a bit of a tropical twist, what could be better than that? And if you can’t find lime sorbet then a lime popsicle works just as well too—just dunk one in each glass.
Hero ingredient: You can’t go wrong with pineapple juice.
Pomegranate Ginger Punch from My Baking Addiction
Why we love it: There’s nothing better than using seasonal ingredients while they are around—and I can’t get enough of pomegranates come fall. What I find particularly intriguing about this punch recipe is the use of Everclear, a liquor I believed was going to remain in my youthful past.
Hero ingredient: Turns out that Everclear’s neutral profile is the perfect blank canvas that draws out the flavors from herbs and lemon peels.
Hocus Pocus Fizz from Doughmestic
Why we love it: This drink is just about as orange and festive as it gets. It’s also a great option for those wanting to create an adult-friendly punch recipe that doesn’t have liquor as the main alcoholic ingredient. Sparkling white wine gives it a zing and a nice effervescence.
Hero ingredient: I can’t get enough of the orange sugar rim.
